The Occupational Therapist is a member of the Caregiver Support Team (CSP) at the Carl Vinson VAMC. The CSP Team is responsible for reviewing complex Program of Comprehensive Assistance for Family Caregivers (PCAFC) eligibility cases for admission, ongoing level of care adjustments, and discharge appropriateness. The CSP is also responsible for adjudicating PCAFC applicant, providing clinical evidence-based services, interventions, and support to Caregivers and Veterans. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
