The Intern is primarily responsible for supporting operations National Office Staff. The intern is expected to be able to come to the physical office 1 day per week and contribute a minimum 6-10 hours per week. Work hours are flexible with academic schedules.
II. FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES. Basis responsibilities depend on the office needs, however, here is a list of various tasks that are supported by interns.
Assist in monthly mailings to members
Assist with general member data base tasks
Assist in review and upload of continuing education course materials
Organize office files and resources
Design graphics for digital marketing needs
Organize and support content and resource collection for newsletters and blogs
Assist with events
Assist in tracking media analytics and current events related to art therapy
Assist in the development of editorial content calendar for online publications
Research for various projects
III. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
A currently enrolled graduate student

IV. ADA SPECIFICATIONS
This position is primarily sedentary in the Alexandria, VA office and may require some bending and lifting. This position requires the ability to work occasional evenings and weekends.
