The Program Manager - Lactation Services is a registered nurse, who holds certification as a lactation consultant and is skilled in assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of lactation programs in critical care, acute care or ambulatory healthcare locations. The Program Manager has oversite for lactation services and works as a member of the interprofessional health care team as a consultant, educator, and mentor to nurses, healthcare professionals, and patients and their families. This leadership position models the standards of behavior, core values and mission statement for the organization. This position manages other lactation consultants, the community breast-feeding peer counselors and WIC contracts. Responsibilities:
