Job description
Joe’s Art Time, LLC seeks a creative and compassionate Art Therapist or Creative Arts Therapist to join our team. Must have graduated from a master's art therapy program and have the potential to achieve the ATR registration and BC Board Certification or the REAT certification. Having a LMHC or Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern is a plus but not required.

Requirements:
Master's degree or higher in Art Therapy.
Must have experience working with children and adult populations.
Experience developing and implementing art therapy directives and protocols
Must complete training from and work under the supervision of a credentialed art therapist.
Administrative and social media marketing experience preferred.
Must have reliable transportation and can commute up to 2 hours to facilities.
Prefer experience working with substance abuse treatment.
Responsibilities:
Lead art therapy art-making sessions.
Prep themes and supplies for art-making sessions.
Establish procedures to follow in group sessions.
Required Skills & Abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must understand best practices within the field of Art Therapy and Arts in Health.
Must be able to complete a Level 2 Background check. Provide medical physical to work in hospital settings.
Ability to work Monday through Friday from 10:30 am-5:30 pm, and Saturdays 11 am to 3 pm as needed.
Physical Requirements:
Must have a valid Florida Class “E” Driver’s License or equivalent issued by another state by date of application.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.

Competitive hourly rate $21-$26 depending on experience and qualifications.
Mileage Reimbursement.
Will provide free supervision for ATR-P and RLMHCI in the state of Florida.
