Supervisory Orthotist/Prosthetist
The Primary Purpose of the Position is: To function as a Supervisory Orthotist, Prosthetist or Orthotist-Prosthetist at the above full performance level. Will administer, or perform work concerned with providing clinical and laboratory prosthetic and orthotic services to disabled patients. Will supervise clinical and technical O&P staff, below practitioner level, as well as wheelchair repair staff. Basic Requirements: Citizenship Citizen of the United States. (Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy). Education: (1) A bachelor's degree or higher in orthotics and prosthetics from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited program.
