Provides recommendation for disposition. The Crisis Assessment Specialist may perform the following as required: face-to-face evaluations, telehealth (video) triage evaluations, respond to and/or triage patient/family complaints, assist in management of all assessment records, perform statistical analysis.What You Bring/Job Requirements:In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:  Minimum Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Nursing, or related behavioral health fieldAt least one year crisis experience, preferred 2 years' experience in direct behavioral health clinical care. Competence with DSM diagnostic criteria and treatment planning. Demonstrates clinical and ethical professionalism, conflict resolution and critical thinking skills. Adequate and available transportation for response to various evaluation sites.Preferred current license in the state of employment in one of the following disciplines: * Clinical Psychologist (PSY)* Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)* Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)* Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)* Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CHMC) * (Utah only)* Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Specialist (RN CNS)* Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (RN NP, Psych Advanced Practice Nurse (APN)* Licensed Addictions Counselor (LAC)Allowable: Current license in the state of employment in one of the following disciplines: Certified Social Worker (CSW), Associate Clinical Mental Health Counselor (ACHMC), Associate level Mental Health Therapy License, and Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, if proper supervision is required and can be met by hospital staff (Utah only). Physical Requirements-Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly). Your Connected Community:When people and places align, incredible things happen.
