Clinical Standards and Policies: Implements and adheres to national clinical policies through local procedures/workflows; evaluates national policy against local/state regulations and escalates to National team for exception (includes collaboration w/CMO org on input for national P&P and regional implementation of finalized regional P&P ensuring compliance with Federal and State regulations, payor requirements (as understood via payor contract visibility), community practice standards and professional ethics; unable to develop clinical policies and standards
Quality Control, Risk Management, and Compliance: Conducts chart record reviews (at frequency set by national team) and provides coaching and education, as needed; Investigates adverse clinical events; Prompts investigation and resolution to manage patient complaints regarding clinical/clinician issues (excludes billing or financial complaints); Analyzes and identifies medical issues/risk and takes prompt measures toward rectification; flags and escalates potential legal issues to National Clinical Integrity team and/or Regulatory/Compliance team (refer to ???Escalation Document???); responds to Critical Incidents as per Critical Incident Policy
Clinician training: In partnership with RMD, provides training and support for APRN colleagues on updates to coding and compliance standards
Peer Consultation: enable weekly or as needed peer consultation forum of patient cases (Consult Lunches) to solicit input, support, and/or share learnings, led by RAPRND, all region APRNs welcome
Clinical ??? Delivery
Case load: Maintains a caseload in accordance to available non-admin time (i.e. ???Director first, Provider second???)
Coverage: Coordinates coverage when a clinician is out for unexpected, extended absences???e.g., maternity leave, departures, sick leave
Managerial and Administrative
Performance Management: Provides general management and oversight of APRNs, inclusive of personnel actions such as performance evaluation and improvement plans; In conjunction with EMD and HRBP, establishes benchmarks and metrics to develop regular performance reviews, accurately evaluating provider performance and assessing clinical competency
Clinician Issue-Resolution & retention: communicates weekly w/Operations Manager/Director to flag issues related to clinician dissatisfaction; meets weekly with the Medical Services Manager (if applicable) to review prior authorization workflow, prescription workflow, and any related issues, etc.; Touch base regularly with strong performers to solicit feedback, mentor, engage (e.g., educate on career progression paths)
Clinician training: train clinicians on updates to coding and compliance standards
Staffing & Utilization: Partners w/Practice Ops to address goals for APRN starts, total visits, and total utilization; monitors scheduling and APRN availability across sites; forecasts regional APRN needs and develop plans accordingly
APRN Hiring, Onboarding, Training, and Productivity (De Novo/Acquisition/Existing): Leads/owns APRN recruiting (hiring needs, interviewing, and hiring decisions), and leads Regional onboarding and training on state specific policies and regulations; Support new clinicians with ramping
Reporting: Reports key performance metrics regularly to Division leadership in accordance with the company???s strategies and processes

Education & Experience:
Advanced Practice Registered Nurse
5+ years of relevant clinical work and leadership experience
Current, unrestricted state license to practice medicine, active DEA registration, and applicable board certification
