Location: GlenOaks School (Grades 3-12) - Pheasant Ridge Campus - 43 E. Stevenson Drive, Glendale Heights, IL
The role you’ll contribute:
Provides behavioral health counseling services to students in Grades 3-12
The value you’ll bring to the team:
- Conducts assessments and establishes therapy and treatment goals.
- Administers individual and group therapy. Maintains thorough and confidential records of observations.
- Evaluates progress and effectiveness of therapy interventions.
- Provides information regarding resources and therapeutic activities in the community.
- Works directly with student, family, physician and community providers to ensure active and collaborate care.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Master's Degree required.
CERTIFICATION / LICENSURE REQUIRED:
One or more of the following:
- Clinical Counselor credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Therapist specializing in Marriage & Family credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or transfer date.
- Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Social Worker specializing in Clinical Practice credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
CERTIFICATION / LICENSURE PREFERRED:
- BLS through American Heart Association
