As an Addiction Therapist assigned to the Mental Health Service Line (MHSL), VAMC Washington DC, the incumbent's primary assignments will be the Medical Center's Substance Abuse Rehabilitation Program (SARP), a specialized Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program (IOP) within the MHSL. The incumbent is a member of an interdisciplinary team that provides treatment to patients with a diagnosis of Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and coexisting medical and other psychiatric conditions/problems.
