Position Summary: The Supervisor of Behavioral Health Crisis Intervention provides crisis intervention and evaluation services following established policies and procedures to meet the unique needs of pediatric, adolescent, adult, and/or geriatric patients and their families. The Supervisor works collaboratively with Manager Crisis Services to ensure that 24/7 crisis services, are staffed appropriately and day to day operations run smoothly. The Supervisor oversees services provided at the mental health center, community, emergency rooms, schools, clients residence and other locations as requested.
Minimum Requirements: -Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy or related field or a Registered Nurse with BA or above education required Three (3) years of experience performing direct crisis services required Certified as a Designated Mental Health Professional or higher license required Ability to obtain Agency Affiliated Counselor Registration upon hire Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Social Worker, or Marriage and Family Therapist is preferred Previous experience in a supervisory role or demonstrated leadership skills Consideration may be given to internal candidates not meeting the minimum qualifications
