You Will Be Responsible For:
Provide oversight and leadership for Mental Health Consultants, including coaching, mentoring, and training as needed.
Analyze trends in data and prepare summary reports, recommendations, and presentations for leadership.
Establish regular communication with campus leaders, providing updates, insights, and suggestions to support team members.
Maintain Mental Health Consultant Playbook, complete with training, policies, and standard operating procedures.
Identify resources to enhance team member mental health and keep a catalogue of services for consultants and leaders to utilize.
Provide professional oversight for regulatory and legal considerations.
Partner to design and implement education related to mental health topics.
Collaborate to build, coordinate, and execute verifiable mental health training opportunities.
Collaboration across AdventHealth Central Florida Division to provide continuous improvement to mental health strategies that support team members.
Performs additional duties as assigned or directed to ensure the smooth operation of the team and department.
Participates in on-call service, including scheduling and oversight of after-hours needs.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Three or more years’ experience in clinical social work or mental health counseling
Master’s Degree in Counseling or Social Work
Two years of management/leadership experience
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
Experience in acute care hospital or other applicable healthcare setting
Experience working with substance use and mental health disorders
Experience in providing clinical coaching and support
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience working in a matrixed reporting relationship
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience working in a multi-disciplinary services environment
Minimum five (5) years’ experience working in a behavioral health related environment
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:
State of Florida Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist or Licensed Clinical Social Worker

The Manager of Team Member Mental Health is a licensed mental health professional that leads the efforts to provide mental and emotional support to team members. The manager is responsible for hiring, onboarding, training and oversight of mental health consultants serving the Central Florida Division of AdventHealth. The manager is responsible for multi-disciplinary relationships, leadership communication, as well as data tracking, analysis and reporting. The manager is expected to maintain professional standing and connections within AdventHealth and external agencies that further the research, development, and application of mental health resources for team members. Awareness of, active utilization and continual improvement of company and regulatory policies and procedures to enhance team member mental health. Responsible for ensuring the department remains compliant with all regulatory requirements, state, and federal laws. Works collaboratively with the director and other system leaders to evaluate needs and resources to help facilitate best-practices in mental health support and cross-functional collaboration. Partners with organizational support services to enhance mental and emotional support for team members. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
