Christian children's ministry serving 150+ youth annually seeks credentialed counselor. The ministry meets the needs of children requiring out-of-home placement due to situations such as abuse, abandonment, neglect, and homelessness. Seeking trauma-informed counselor with a heart for children to provide and/or coordinate:
on-going crisis management,
individual and/or family therapy,
substance abuse intervention, and
other programmatic components and supports as required to alleviate the risk of behavioral issues, self-injury, harm to others, or placement disruption for youth in care.

Clinical Social Work License (LCSW) and two years of prior experience working with youth or Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) and two years of prior experience working with youth.
Certification in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (Preferred).
Certification in Substance Abuse Counseling (LCAS) (Preferred).
