The Eastern Colorado Veterans Health Care System, Mental Health Service Line is currently recruiting for two (2) Supervisory Social Worker BHIP program one for the Colorado VA Outpatient Clinic, located in Colorado Springs Colorado and one for the Pueblo VA Clinic, Pueblo Colorado This is multi-discipline announcement and we be recruited for from Social Workers, Psychologist and Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselors. The Behavioral Health Integrated Program Team Lead is assigned to one at the Mental Health Clinic at the Floyd K. Lindstrom Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) located in Colorado Springs. CO and one at the Pueblo Colorado VA Clinic in Pueblo Colorado, within the VA Eastern Colorado Health Care System (ECHCS). The incumbent formulates and directs the operations for one BHIP Team. The incumbent works with his/her BHIP Team to provide services for patients and their families in accordance with the mission of ECHCS by establishing priorities for work to be performed and developing available staff resources accordingly. The Team Lead provides administrative coordination and clinical leadership to a multi-disciplinary treatment team in a complex, very large CBOC. She/he participates as both the administrative and clinical lead as well as a clinical member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team. As a clinical member of the team, the incumbent conducts evidence based psychosocial treatment for the care of eligible veterans and their family members. Veteran's healthcare and psychosocial problems are complex and require a high degree of clinical oversight and creative problem solving. The Team Lead assists in planning, establishing, and implementing policies and procedures: developing individual or group goals and objectives as well as monitoring, operating, evaluating, coordinating and observing the multi-disciplinary staff of their assigned program. The incumbent will serve as a member of the Southern CBOC Section leadership team. The incumbent will assure multi-disciplinary staff under her/his supervision are aware of and adhere to all current directives and handbooks of the Veterans Healthcare Administration, meet current Joint Commission standards, CARF Standards, State licensure standards, and VA-OIG oversight requirements. The incumbent will conduct ongoing intensive reviews and appraisals to ensure the accomplishments of objectives and adherence to standards set by governing bodies.
