Overview The EAP Counselor is responsible for providing assessment, referral and short-term counseling services. Develop and implement educational presentations, articles and other written materials as needed. Assess EAP needs of care system(s) and market services within those care system(s). Provide consultation services to managers and supervisors, and provide critical Incident Stress Management Services as needed. Maintain industry standards for providing services, and maintain accurate and complete records. Responsible for high level customer satisfaction for all services. This position will be working remotely until May of 2021 and will be reassessed at that time. This position requires remote work. In addition to adhering to all Fairview policies, guidelines, procedures, the Fairview Commitments, and the Code of Conduct, it is the expectation the following requirements of the remote work policy will be met, including but not limited to:
Provide counseling services to employees, and family members of our organization and our contracted organizations. Maintain proper documentation. Ability to manage crisis. The counselor role requires a high degree of flexibility to meet the changing demands of the organization and the customers we serve.
