The Respiratory Care Department provides service for the Christiana and Wilmington hospitals. Respiratory Therapists provide service to all areas of the hospital as part of a specialized team including adult and infant critical care units, medical-surgical floors and emergency care. The ChristianaCare Respiratory Department is one of only 14 acute care hospitals that earned APEX recognition from the American Association for Respiratory Care in the entire country.

There are approximately one hundred and fifty six full and part time therapists working throughout Christiana Care Health System. We currently have opportunities to become a member of one of the most involved departments in innovative therapy and research in a respected environment where you are valued as part of the multidisciplinary team. The Respiratory department is currently seeking a Respiratory Therapist to work Full time, 72 hr bi-weekly Midnight shift. Hours for the position are 630pm -7am. Every 3rd weekend and holiday required. This position is at Christiana Hospital with rotations to Wilmington Hospital.

Requirements: Graduate of CoARC Educational Accreditation Committee approved School of Respiratory Therapy. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred. Delaware license or license eligible. Previous acute care experience as a Respiratory Therapist preferred.
