We are currently seeking a Clinician to be part of an intensive care team that focuses on assessment and safety planning for those at the greatest risk of danger to self or others or grave disability due to mental illness. This includes crisis assessments and ongoing clinical support services to allow individuals with serious mental illness to continue living in their community and disrupt emergency out-of-area hospitalizations as much as possible.
Masters degree in a behavioral health-related field
Two years of clinical experience as a mental health counselor
Alaska licensure upon hire as a LMSW (Licensed Master Social Worker), LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) or Psychologist
Knowledge of DSM-V disorders and most efficacious treatments, good communication skills and writing abilities
