Organizes and conducts medically prescribed occupational therapy to patients (infants, toddler, pre-school, school age, adolescent, and adult client) in the in-patient or out-patient settings. Instructs family in phases of the therapy program with which they may assist the patient. Provides advisory service to other professional workers who share responsibility for patient care. Is responsible to the Rehabilitation Services Manager and Chief Nursing Officer
Must be a graduate of accredited Occupational Therapy program with at least a BS degree in Occupational therapy. Prefer one year of Occupational Therapy experience but will consider new graduate
Current license to practice Occupational Therapy in Louisiana or ability to obtain one
Certification in AED/Basic Life Support(CPR) or ability to obtain
