FULL-TIME - MONDAY - FRIDAY - DAYS - WEEKEND REQUIREMENTS: AS NEEDED
Bachelor's degree in a related field obtained through a formal 4-year program. Master's degree in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Public Health, or related science preferred. Two years related experience preferred. Certification in Infection Control (CIC) from the Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology (CBIC) preferred. Under direction of the Director of Corporate Quality Systems, is responsible for evaluating established infection prevention practices in an ambulatory setting, antibiotic stewardship program, Value Based Purchasing analysis and to meet any other regulatory, compliance, or statutory requirements as deemed necessary for Broward Health. Supports the organization's mission of providing quality health care in a cost effective manner. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, and Word. Infection control data mining surveillance software experience preferred (ie: MedMIned) and statistical application software. Must be comfortable obtaining and submitting data from various applicable websites, i.e. NHSN, Quality Net, etc. Six Sigma Training preferred.
