CLINICAL PROGRAM DIRECTOR

::Belmont Pines Hospital, the largest, freestanding behavioral health hospital in Ohio, serves northeast Ohio and western Pennsylvania, and provides comprehensive behavioral services for children and adolescents is seeking a clinical program director for the Acute programming. The program director oversees the day to day operations of the Acute Adolescent/Child Unit, works collaboration with the DON to assist in supervision with nursing/techs/COTA, teacher, and directly supervises the therapists. The counselor/social work (SW) staff member is a licensed professional who plays an active role in ensuring that the treatment team manages the master treatment plan throughout the patient's stay. The director also provides individual, group, and family therapy while functioning in his/her role. The director remains in the role as a liaison to community providers, and a role model to the patients and their guardians. The SW I is responsible for Clinical Supervision of LSWs and PCs who are not independently licensed, as well as field placement Masters Degree and Bachelor Degree students. Additionally, as part of the Leadership team, this employee must have strong Leadership Skills which include: Delegation, time management, strategic thinking, continuous improvement, holding employee meetings, attending management meetings, effective and frequent communication, positive employee engagement scores, manage turnover within your department, and effective assessment of your subordinates.
