The Meadows Psychiatric Center is a 117-bed inpatient behavioral health care facility with numerous outpatient programs, which span the entire continuum of care. The beautiful 52-acre rural campus is located minutes outside State College in Central Pennsylvania. The Meadows Psychiatric Center provides comprehensive services to children, adolescents and adults. The candidate selected will be responsible for the following:The Therapist develops and implements Activity Therapy groups and services to patients as well as conduct individual assessments. Must possess knowledge of occupational or recreational therapy concepts and have true interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and other treatment team members.
