The Behavioral Health Counselor will be responsible for evaluating and determining courses of treatment for their assigned clients
Coordinating all aspects of your clients treatment and provide ongoing Counseling. To be able to assess the clients need for therapy. Design a treatment plan to meet the need of the client. Diagnose the client and follow through with required paperwork of the program as follows: Fully written assessment of the client. Complete diagnosis using DSMIV protocols. Use the ICDM9 for primary diagnosis for billing purposes Maintain patient records, according to Clinic protocols. Attend case conferences. Maintain knowledge of community resources and programs and make appropriate referrals as required.
Current and active license as an LCSW or Psychologist
Experience in Behavioral Health
Aware of State and Federal regulations regarding confidentiality and release of medical and behavioral health information.
Aware of reporting laws concerning sexual, physical or emotional abuse of a minor or adult
