Trellis Services http://trellisservices.com, a Learn It Family of Companies division http://www.learnitsystems.com, is a progressive and innovative agency designed to provide therapeutic interventions tailored to children with autism. The Trellis School’s educational program is designed to build strong foundational communication, learner readiness, academic, social and play skills in young learners with autism and other language related disorders. The Trellis School incorporates the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) with a focus on B.F. Skinner’s Analysis of Verbal Behavior (VB). The program captures a learner’s motivation in order to teach and reinforce new skills. Because the effects of autism can be difficult for children, a school environment specifically for children with autism can offer services beyond the scope of special education in public schools.
What You’ll Do:
Speech-Language Pathologists support children enrolled in the Trellis School. Our program utilizes a strong team approach, with Speech-Language Pathologists working closely alongside occupational therapists, teachers, BCBAs, instructional assistants, and other related service providers. Trellis Speech-Language Pathologists have a passion for working with children with autism and thrive in this collaborative environment. Speech therapy sessions are implemented anywhere and everywhere throughout the school environment. This allows our therapists to engage with their students in the setting that works best for each individual student.
